Human causes: Most are caused by human factors. Objective causes: In the manufacturing process of grates handed down to today, some grate equipment did not previously consider process requirements. Chemical substances containing acid and sulfur often appear in the grate manufacturing process. Among them, sulfur has a relatively strong corrosive effect on stainless steel. Stainless steel itself may also contain sulfur or acidic substances. When used to make grates and used for grate ceilings or bottom stepping, rusting can occur.

In summary, rusting of stainless steel linear grates is a common phenomenon. So how can we avoid these?

First, protect the stainless steel plate surface during processing so that it is not affected. It can be treated centrally, and anti-corrosion treatment can also be done on the bottom. For the processor, the welding material should be a good-quality steel that does not contain sulfuric acid.

Second, use film protection. During processing, use stainless steel tools, wooden hammers, rubber, carpets, wooden boards and other equipment to contact the stainless steel plate surface, avoiding direct contact with iron and copper tools.
