Polymer composite manhole covers vary in thickness, depending on the required diameter and load-bearing capacity. They can be as thin as 4 cm or as thick as 20 cm. Generally, D400/E500 with a thickness of 12-15 cm is sufficient for road traffic use. C250 should be no less than 30 mm for residential communities, D400 should be no less than 50 mm for city roads, E600 should be no less than 50 mm for freight stations and docks, and F900 should be no less than 50 mm for airport runways.
